At SymThesis Technologies Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), privacy is a priority. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our terminal and website (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

To provide our algorithmic research terminal, we collect standard operational data:

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address via our authentication provider (Supabase) to provision your account and manage credits.
• Payment Information: For pro tiers and credit purchases, we utilize Stripe. We do not process or store your raw credit card numbers on our servers; Stripe securely handles all billing data.
• Financial Research Inputs: The ticker symbols you query are recorded. This data is used to serve your explicit research requests, cache responses to improve speed for other users, and populate your personal History ledger.
• Technical Data: We log basic connection data (like IP addresses via Cloudflare) primarily for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and DDoS protection via the `CF-Connecting-IP` headers.

Cookies and Local Storage: We use essential cookies and browser local storage strictly to maintain your logged-in session, secure your account via Supabase, and process payments securely via Stripe.

2. How We Use and Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We use the information we collect solely to:

• Provide, secure, and maintain the SymThesis Service.
• Deduct credits based on your active usage.
• Cache common requests (e.g., AAPL) in centralized anonymized databases to prevent re-computation.
• Prevent abusive traffic spanning across demo limits.

We share data exclusively with trusted third-party infrastructure processors necessary to operate the platform. For example, authentication tokens are managed by Supabase; billing via Stripe; and queries are synthesized via leading language model APIs (e.g. Google Cloud Vertex AI).

Analytics and Advertising: We use tracking technologies, such as the Reddit Pixel, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. This allows us to see when a user visits our site from an ad and completes a sign-up. We do not use these tools to track your specific financial queries across the web.

3. Data Retention and Security

We implement strict access controls and transport layer security (HTTPS) bounds. Historical queries attached to your account are maintained so you can recall past reports seamlessly. Demo query logs are retained solely to enforce rate-limiting mechanics and may be periodically purged.

4. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to the data we hold on you or request its deletion. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, please contact us at symthesis.app@gmail.com or delete your account through our platform once that feature is accessible.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Your continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the current policies.
