Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the SymThesis terminal and website, operated by SymThesis Technologies Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the SymThesis terminal, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Disclaimer of Financial Advice

SymThesis is an algorithmic research tool designed for informational purposes only. The synthesized reports, agent outputs, and "Bear Case Mandates" do NOT constitute financial, investment, or legal advice. Algorithms process historical and publicly available data, which may be inaccurate, delayed, or subject to hallucination. Always conduct your own exhaustive due diligence and consult a licensed professional before executing any trades.

3. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall SymThesis Technologies Inc., its directors, or its developers be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, loss of profit, or special damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the platform. In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the past twelve (12) months.

4. API Limits and Credits

Platform access is metered via a credit system. We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts engaging in abusive scraping or bypassing authentication barriers.

5. Payments, Credits, and Refunds

SymThesis operates on a prepaid credit system and subscription model. All payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). Because the generation of algorithmic reports requires immediate, irreversible server compute costs, all sales are final and non-refundable once credits have been utilized. Subscription cancellations will prevent future billing, but unused rolled-over credits hold no cash value and are not eligible for prorated refunds.

6. Third-Party Data Accuracy and Uptime

Our quantitative pipeline aggregates and synthesizes data from third-party financial APIs, SEC filings, and large language models (LLMs). We do not warrant that this upstream data is accurate, complete, or real-time. The SymThesis terminal is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We are not liable for any pipeline downtime, delayed market data, or systemic failures of our underlying AI providers.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the provincial and federal courts located within Ontario, Canada, to resolve any dispute or claim arising from this Agreement.
